While at OU, he played Varsity Baseball and was a member of the 1964 Mid-American Conference Championship Baseball Team. Upon his return to Huntington after graduating from law school, Mr. Ketchum joined his father, Chad W. Ketchum (1911-1998) in the practice of law with the law firm of Greene, Ketchum & Baker in 1967. For almost 40 years now, Mr. Ketchum has litigated various types of cases, including, but not limited to, personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, maritime, Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA), and coal mining injury cases in West Virginia. Throughout his legal career, he has published legal articles and presented numerous continuing legal education seminars to bar associations, claims associations and legal assistant associations.

In addition to his practice of law, Mr. Ketchum serves today as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He has been a member of the University’s Board of Governors since 2002. He also continues to serve as a board member for the Public Defender Corporation for the Sixth and Twenty-fourth Judicial Circuits.
