Approvals Of Transfers Of Structured Settlements In 1999, the Virginia legislature passed the Structured Settlement Protection Act, mandating that transfers of structured settlement payments be approved by a court under procedures set out in the Act. Mr. Marshall has developed a specialty of representing structured settlement purchasers in securing these necessary court approvals. As an expert on the detailed statutory requirements, he can efficiently handle these procedures.
