Mr. Roche belongs to the American Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Maryland State Bar. He is also a member of the Fairfax County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. In 1986, Mr. Roche was appointed and continues to serve as a Commissioner in Chancery for the Circuit Court of Fairfax? County, Virginia.
He earned his Juris Doctor in 1976 from George Washington University National Law Center. Mr. Roche also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown. From 1970-1971, Mr. Roche served as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
