On Family law and immigration law cases, we charge a nominal fee of $50.00 for the initial consultation, and if we are hired, we will deduct that initial nominal fee off of the legal fee we will charge for the case. For personal injury cases, you only pay attorney fees if we win a settlement in your case. The attorney fees in a personal injury case are done by contingency, which means we will be paid a percentage of what is recovered. When we are handling criminal defense cases, the first step we take is to go to court and obtain a bond reduction hearing or a hearing to set a bond for those clients that do not have a bond set. This is a very important step for those clients whose bond was set unfairly high, to an amount that the client's family can not afford and for those clients who may not have a bond set. We understand how important it is for our clients to be out of the county jail and be together with their families while the case goes through the legal channels.

After our clients are at home with their families, the next step is for us to contact the court administration office noting them that we are your attorneys of record in your case. The court administration office will then notify us of your court dates. We will then notify you of your court date and one of our attorney's will appear with you to all of your court dates.

If you or your loved one does not need a bond reduction hearing or bond setting hearing and already have their court dates set, we will appear with our clients to all of their court date appearances.

We are always looking into weaknesses and mistakes the police made in investigating the case they have against you or your loved one. We do this while interviewing you and all the witnesses that can help us in successfully defending the case. We will read and look at all of the evidence the police have against you and look for evidence that could be favorable in defending your case. We are always trying to find a way so that your case can be dismissed. We look into legal technicalities such as looking to see if the police obtained evidence illegally or if the arrest was not legally performed. We will file motions to suppress the illegally obtained evidence, and if the court agrees and finds that the evidence was obtained illegally then often times the charges are dismissed after that occurs.

Our law firm is always trying to find a way to have the charges dismissed against you. If the charges can not be dismissed, then we will work with the District Attorney's Office in order to negotiate a favorable plea agreement that will hopefully not carry any jail or prison time. If we can not have the case dismissed against you or obtain a favorable plea agreement, then we will use our experience to fight your case up through a jury trial.
