He has trial experience in cases involving allegations of negligence, products liability, toxic tort, maritime, employment, and workers' compensation. For the last few years, he has devoted a substantial part of his practice to defending companies against asbestos claims.
Representative Cases:
- Represented the Hungarian manufacturer of mass-transit buses in several products liability lawsuits based upon alleged defect in work station resulting in repetitive trauma injuries
- Obtained a defense verdict for an asbestos-product manufacturer in plaintiff-friendly county
- Defended a contractor against the chemical exposure claims of more than 100 workers arising from chemical release at Brazoria County, Texas, chemical plant
- Represented the provider of services to developmentally disabled persons based upon allegations of abuse and neglect
- Represented a large manufacturing company against allegations by employees that the company failed to follow provisions of the WARN Act in connection with a reduction in force
