In an effort to assist all economically challenged families, regardless of underlying medical diagnosis, one of our members established the Pennies From Heaven Keeping Families Together Fund. This 501(c)(3) charity provides economic assistance to families with children admitted to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to enable the parents to remain at the child's bedside without fear of financial consequences. Since its inception, Pennies From Heaven has raised more than a half million dollars and has helped hundreds of needy families. Most importantly, the Fund is entirely self-directed and managed guaranteeing that every dollar raised goes directly to families in need. The Firm is a major supporter of Pennies From Heaven. In a similar effort to give back to the community, Neil Rosen established an endowment in the area of trial advocacy at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law School.
