Eileen Reilly Buzzello is the attorney that will be handling your case. Most of her caseload involves family issues, but she also can handle
estate planning, personal injury work, guardianships and conservatorships, adoptions, living wills
, and minor criminal issues. Eileen is the mother of three sons and is admitted to practice in Nebraska and U.S. District Courts, District of Nebraska. She graduated cum laude from Creighton University School of Law. Eileen worked for Union Pacific railroad for nearly twenty years, and was the first Executive Director of the
Domestic Violence Coordinating council of Greater Omaha
. She was on the Editorial Board of the Nebraska Lawyer, on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Court of Appeals, on the Executive Board of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation for the National High School Mock Trial Tournament, former Secretary for the Omaha Bar Association, President of the Nebraska Women's Bar Association, and was elected by her peers to the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates. For nine years she was the host of a weekly radio show on KIOS-FM in Omaha Nebraska called Ask-A-Lawyer, and still occasionally guest hosts this show. Eileen has received the Nebraska State Bar Association Award of Appreciation, the Omaha Bar Association Public Service Award, a Distinguished Graduate Award from the National Catholic Educational Association, the Purple Ribbon Award from the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council of Greater Omaha, and has been nominated twice for the YWCA's Women of Spirit Award. Eileen has been active in the community, participating in the Omaha Chamber of Commerce membership drive, the Women's Fund Task Force on Domestic Violence, the Omaha Bar Association Domestic Violence Committee, the Nebraska State Bar Association Public Relations Committee, the Omaha Bar Association Public Service Committee, the Nebraska State Bar Association Publications Committee, the Omaha Bar Association Executive Committee, Regional Coordinator of the High School Mock Trial Program Competition, Domestic Violence Coordinating Council Legislation Committee, Domestic Violence Coordinating Council Membership Committee, and Domestic Violence Coordinating Council Courtwatch Committee. Eileen was the planning chair for a Nebraska Continuing Legal Education seminar on Domestic Violence and It's Impact on the Legal Profession and the Courts, planning chair for the University of Nebraska Medical Center Family Medicine Teaching Day Seminar on Domestic Violence, and Planning Chair for the Nebraska Continuing Legal Education seminar on Family Law Update, as well as moderated a Nebraska State Bar Association Annual Meeting Family Law Seminar panel discussion. Eileen has had numerous speaking engagements, including Creighton University Classes, the Volunteer lawyers Project Roundtable Seminar on Family Law, a Catholic Ministries Seminar, the Association of Legal Administrators, the Metro Tech Paralegal Program, and several grade schools as part of the Lawyers in the Classroom project of the Nebraska State Bar Association. She wrote much of the material for the national Business Institute Seminar on Domestic Law in Nebraska, and has published three articles Nebraska Lawyer, the Magazine Produced by the Nebraska State Bar Association.
