Michael is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant and is licensed to practice law in both the States of Florida and Michigan. Before forming Willis & Willis, PLC with his brother, Shaun Patrick Willis, Michael worked for two different premier Michigan law firms honing his craft in estate planning, estate tax minimization, estate and trust administration, probate administration, probate litigation, elder law, Medicaid planning, corporate law and real estate. Michael is an avid public presenter conducting approximately twenty presentations per year throughout southwestern Michigan on the topics of estate planning, estate tax, probate administration, corporate law and real estate. Michael is a member of both the Florida and Michigan Bars, the Kalamazoo County Bar Association and the Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. He recently served as a youth soccer coach in the Kalamazoo Soccer Club and currently serves on the Board of Directors of an organization composed of risk-management advisors. Michael is married and his wife Susan and daughter Isabella are the lights of his life.
