The firm was started in part by Bruce D. Brattain. Mr. Brattain is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and was Civil Chief with the United States Attorney's Office in the Northern District of Indiana from 1984 through 1986. Thereafter, Mr. Brattain served as trial counsel for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation before entering private practice.
