Phears & Moldovan was founded in 1985 by Wayne Phears. The firm is currently composed of five attorneys, two partners and three associates. Perhaps the single most distinctive characteristic of the firm is that, although it has never had more than seven attorneys, the firm has consistently been involved in large scale, complex litigation. The firm has, for example, successfully handled several multi-million dollar cases including a computer software and hardware case, state and federal regulatory matters, a general tier equity transaction for an internet start up, a major antitrust case against defendants represented by several large New York and Houston law firms, a multi-million dollar automobile dealer termination case, and a products liability action.
