Maurice is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York. He has extensive experience in labor and employment, aviation disaster, class action, commercial, personal injury, and appellate litigation, as well as in representing clients in the purchase, sale, and leasing of aircraft and aircraft equipment. Prior to joining Anania Bandklayder Blackwell Baumgarten & Torricella, Maurice served as Senior Director - Legal Affairs for Eastern Air Lines, Inc., where he was responsible for supervising Eastern's litigation nationwide.

Maurice is an honors graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. He is a 1981 graduate of the Colombia University School of Law. He is active in the community, having served as President and a member of the Board of Directors of Beth Israel Congregation in Miami Beach, Florida.
