Jonathan Gonzales?practices in the litigation department with an emphasis on class actions and federal securities fraud litigation.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Gonzales was a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission Summer Honors Program in the Southeast Regional Office in Miami. He was also a summer associate with the Regulatory Law Group at Lehman Brothers in New York.
Mr. Gonzales is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Notre Dame Club of Miami. He?is admitted to?the U.S. District Courts in the Southern and?Middle Districts of Florida, and he will be admitted to the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Florida shortly.
Mr. Gonzales earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2001 from Pomona College and his M.B.A. cum laude in 2005 from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. In 2005, he also earned his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where he served as Executive Managing Editor for the Journal of College and University Law. Mr. Gonzales was the recipient of the 2003 Dean's Award in Securities Regulation. While in law school, he was also a member of the Honor Council, and he served as President of Phi Alpha Delta.
