Hahn & Hahn LLP has a sophisticated and diverse practice. In addition to serving many individuals and family owned businesses in their person and business matters, we also serve as general or special counsel to a wide variety of larger entities.

Hahn & Hahn LLP focuses primarily on three practice areas: business, litigation and trust/estate planning. The firm's business lawyers perform services in all of the principal substantive areas of commercial law, including corporate and partnership counseling, tax advice, municipal law, real property transactions and land use, employment relations and general contract law. Our litigation lawyers handle cases before all state and federal courts and administrative agencies, both at the trial and appellate levels, relating to such matters as contracts, real property, environmental, construction, eminent domain, redevelopment, personal injury, wrongful death, employment, professional malpractice, trademark, marital dissolution, tax, collections and general business disputes. The lawyers practicing in the trust/estate planning field draft wills, trusts and all other estate planning documents, advise in the administration of trusts and probates, handle conservatorship estates, advise clients on estate and gift tax issues and litigate in the estate, trust, estate and gift tax and conservatorship fields.

Professional Involvement

Hahn & Hahn LLP lawyers devote significant amounts of time to professional activities. Our lawyers have served in a variety of important positions with local, state and national bar associations. They include California's representative on the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association; President of the State Bar of California; Vice-President of its Board of Governors; Chair of a variety of American Bar Association and State Bar Sections and Committees; President of the International Academy of Estate and Trust law; President of the Pasadena Bar Association and President of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Barristers. Three of our lawyers are Fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers, three are Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and two are Fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Community Involvement

Hahn & Hahn LLP has a long tradition of involvement in civic and charitable affairs. Our lawyers have served in a variety of positions with charities and community organizations. They include President of the Pasadena Junior Chamber of commerce, President of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huntington Memorial Hospital and President of a local School Board. Three of our partners have served as President of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. Members of the firm have severed from time to time as Directors and Officers of many other charitable organizations such as Five Acres Boys & Girls Aid Society of Los Angeles, Boy Scouts, Pasadena Historical Society and Junior League of Pasadena.
